about the studio
●
Ultragramme is a design studio cofounded in 2014 by Charles Beauté and Juliette Goiffon. Collaborating with clients in cultural and business fields, the studio defends an open and cross-cutting approach to design. From print to digital, from space to exhibit design, each project receives a singular means for communication.
Beyond purely formal considerations, we conceive efficient tools which may be easily appropriated by our clients. Ultragramme’s activities are enriched by the artistic projects of Charles Beauté and Juliette Goiffon, who take great pleasure in their dual role.
Charles Beauté
●
A graduate from the Ecole Supérieure des Arts-Décoratifs de Strasbourg (HEAR) in graphic design, Charles Beauté worked for 5 years as an independent graphic designer and repeatedly for the Libération newspaper. Co-founder and artistic director for the theory of design magazine Strabic.fr, he is particularly interested in information design and in the relations between print and digital media.
Juliette Goiffon
●
After having graduated from the Arts-Décoratifs de Strasbourg (HEAR) and the Beaux-Arts de Paris (ENSBA), Juliette Goiffon considers graphic design as a branch of her artistic practice. With the intention to break down boundaries, she focuses on building bridges between these sister practices, playing with their respective tools and media, thus creating systems of creation more than fixed forms.
